  1.        1.  _I_n_t_r_o_d_u_c_t_i_o_n

  3.        These release notes document the    MultiGen  Performer  Execution
  4.        Environment  (_M_u_l_t_i_G_e_n__P_e_r_f__e_o_e), version 15.4h,    from MultiGen-
  5.        Paradigm    Incorporated.  It  contains  the  OpenFlight  database
  6.        loader utility DSO libraries for    IRIS Performer.

  8.        Note: IRIS Performer includes a separate    version    of these
  9.          DSO's  in    its  database  loader  directory,  located  at
  10.          /_u_s_r/_l_i_b/_l_i_b_p_f_d_b.

  12.        OpenFlight is a public domain binary file format     developed  by
  13.        MultiGen-Paradigm  Inc..     It's  used for    the storage, retrieval
  14.        and modeling of 3D virtual environments that contain: geometry,
  15.        light sources, sounds and behaviors. OpenFlight is the industry
  16.        standard    for portable  3D  content  in  the  visual  simulation
  17.        industry. It's the native file format for MultiGen applications
  18.        and tools.

  47.        After you install the online release notes for a     product  (the
  48.        relnotes     subsystem),  you  can    view the release notes on your
  49.        screen.

  51.        If you have a graphics system, select Release  Notes  from  the
  52.        Help  submenu  of  the  Toolchest.  This     displays  either  the
  53.        _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) or _i_n_f_o_s_e_a_r_c_h(1) graphical browser for the    online
  54.        release notes.

  56.        Refer to    either the  _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1)  or  _i_n_f_o_s_e_a_r_c_h(1)  reference
  57.        pages for information options to    these commands.

  60.        command.     Refer to the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) reference page for accessing
